Submit an Application:
The Leadership Oak Ridge program consists of 13 half-day sessions and 2 overnight trips. 80% attendance is required for graduation. Attendance is required for the opening retreat. Applicant's organization must commit to this time allotment should applicant be selected for the program. Tuition is $595 per participant and is non-refundable.

Overnight Retreat; Leadership Introduction and Local Government; Anderson County Government; Economic & Industrial Development; Nashville Trip (State Government): Education in Oak Ridge; DOE Contractor Day; An Evening with the Arts; Social Services & Quality of Life; Housing & Tourism; The Oak Ridge Image & Regional Leadership; Graduation Dinner
Tuition:
$595 covers all activities for each participant. Limited financial assistance may be possible. Participants selected for the Leadership program will be notified. Tuition must be paid prior to the beginning of the class and there will be no refunds after that date.
What is Leadership Oak Ridge?
Leadership Oak Ridge is a program designed to meet the need for a diverse network of leaders throughout the city by developing a broad understanding of the community's needs.
Previous experience in Oak Ridge and other cities has shown that this unique program has an immediate and positive effect on the participants, their organizations, and their community.
Leadership Oak Ridge serves as a forum for overall training in community responsibility. It is a program designed to develop and expand the leadership potential existing in the community by:

Who Can Participate?
Candidates may be nominated and sponsored by area businesses, organizations and individuals. Class size is limited to 40 participants. Selection of participants will be made based on the following criteria:
