Tennessee Children's Home - WESTSERVICES
GROUP CARE
Three homes are dedicated to caring for mid
to long-term placements in a family setting.
Typically, the children in this program come out of backgrounds of abuse,
neglect or abandonment. Currently,
there are twenty-four children being housed and cared for in these three homes.
COMMUNITY FOSTER CARE
The backgrounds of these children are very
similar to those in group care. The
most obvious difference is age. It’s
not at all unusual to have preschool children in this program. These children are cared for in private
homes.
EMERGENCY SHELTER Children are usually at our shelter for
thirty days or less while the courts and caseworkers involved determine a
longer-term placement for the child. WTCH
has both a boys are girls shelter serving a total of sixteen children.
