Procedure for Commissioning Portraits
1. An initial meeting will take place between the artist
and client to discuss what the client desires in terms of subject, color, and
background for portrait. This meeting will take 2 - 3 hours. Artist will take
some photographs of subject at this meeting, as well.
2. A 30% deposit is required before portrait is begun - This is to cover cost of supplies and to guarantee a place in portrait schedule.
3. Artist may require up to 3 sittings for portrait lasting
2 hours each. Additional photographs may be taken at each of these sessions.
4. If travel is necessary, artist and client will agree on
a given time and longer, concurrent sittings may be required.
5. Upon completion of portrait, artist will ask that client
preview the work. Any necessary changes will then be made.
6. Final payment will be accepted and portrait will be released only when final approval is made by client.
